Just had Todd over to tune a 1985 Yamaha baby grand (G1) that I grew up on, it was just moved to our house from my parents' a few days ago. The piano hadn't been used or tuned in over 6 years, ever since I ran off to college ... Todd is punctual, extremely thorough, and knowledgable. He asks useful questions and provides a customized plan of action so that all parties are happy (including the piano). Will definitely consult Todd in the future for my piano regulation, tuning and voicing needs.
Sharon came over and tuned my Steinway today. She did a great job. She also voiced the piano and looked everything over. Very reasonable for excellent work.
My Mom has an old player piano from the 1970's that has been very neglected over the years. Todd went above and beyond in servicing it. Not only is it now in tune, but he mangaged to bring the player back from the dead after it hadn't worked for at least twenty years. Having the piano work again has brought a lot of joy to our house. I should call Todd an artist instead of a piano tuner. He restores different types of pianos for 30 years and knows piano anatomy inside out... I have been playing piano for 20 years and I listen to a lot of recordings, so I stood next to Todd for 3 hours watching and listening to him tuning each note to make sure it was the sound I want... If you are buying piano, especially old one you might want him to evaluate it for you. Very Very good tuner, highly recommend..
